| The UltraPress from CONTECH processes vinyl materials for products including signs, overlays, labels, decals, banners, lamination, and tactile switches quickly and efficiently.
The CONTECH UltraPress can die-cut or stamp vinyl material at high speeds with close tolerances. Thermal die-cutting, which melts the material where contact is made, allows the finished part to be peeled from its backing or from the matrix. The press can also steel-rule kiss cut or thru-cut, allowing more inexpensive production and repair of dies compared to hardened steel dies. In addition the UltraPress can emboss, deboss or stamp products including domes, tactile feel switches, and embossed / debossed labels.
The UltraPress is backed by CONTECH’s custom engineering capabilities, making it completely compatible with existing plant equipment. CONTECH also designs and manufactures a complete line of material processing equipment including slitters, rewinders, sheeters, stackers, narrow-web die-cutters, applicators and more. |
