When tight tolerances and high speeds are required, the Contech Sheeter/Slitter system can sheet and slit corrugated paper and plastic materials for converting applications or manufacturing products such as boxes, packaging and sheets.
Contech’s Sheeter/Slitter system is available with an exclusive hydraulic powered drive system or high speed brushless servo drive, sheeting and slitting a variety of corrugated paper and plastic materials inline or from a roll. The system provides a finished cut and close-tolerance trimmed product, an optional Stacker units is also available to stack the finished product for easier handling and bundling. In addition, an optional brake modulation system is available to automatically adjust brake pressure and maintain web tension as rolls decrease in size.
The Sheeter/ Slitter syste is backed by Contech’s customer engineering capabilities, to make it completely compatible with existing plant equipment. Contech also designs and manufacturers a complete line of material processing equipment including narrow-web die-cutters., rewinders, applicators, and more.
