INNO-LOK® pre-zippered film is a patented product and method for attaching reclosable fasteners to form, fill and seal packaging films. The reclosable fasteners are reapplied to roll stock by the film converter, greatly reducing packaging waste. This film does not require modification to filling equipment or cause a reduction in cycle rates or output. The zipper is pre-applied transverse to the edges of the film and does not travel into the sealed area. This application eliminates zipper distortion and leaking, which can occur during the heat-sealing process with traditional zippers.

INNO-LOK® pre-zippered film is currently being used by converters producing film used to package poultry, frozen foods, pet foods, vegetables, cereals, snack foods, rice and other applications. It was one of eight winners in the 1997 Flexible Packaging Associations (FPA's) Top Package Awards, representing greatest innovations in flexible packaging technology.
